   It appears that internal wires are visible from the zapper part of the cane.
   Not well designed.
   Typical low quality Chinese made product.

   The button is easy turn the zap on and you might accidentally shock yourself if you are not careful. It cost me $40 for mailing back the item. Refund update: after making back the product, they denied my refund. Do not buy from this vendor!

   Item arrived without an Instruction Booklet – no USB Cord – no Replacement Rubber Cane Tip – and no USB BRICK for re-charging.

   Moreover, It is close to IMPOSSIBLE to withdraw the Stun-device from the cane tube (small rounded ‘buttons’ cannot be depressed by even my strong fingers). And lastly, after only a few day use ‘indoors’ the Cane already wobbles at the point where the tube joins the handle.

   What a shame. A couple of colleagues suggested this after seeing someone with one at a Business Meeting. IT IS A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT TO ME – BUT I NEED THE SUPPORT TO GET AROUND, therefore have no intention of returning it. The “Protective” feature is a total bust…..and THESE are the only things “STUN-ing”‘ about ZAP.

   The light is good and bright. Love the adjustable height. The switch that controls the light and zapper is very sturdy and cannot slip into zap mode by accident. A makeshift strap helps to hold the handle while using it and I can hang it on my key rack at home. The electronics are fragile and I will add some extra padding around the handle to prevent internal damage in case it is dropped, as it happened to my first zap cane which will no longer charge. Never had to use the zapper but feel safer just having it close by.

   Very awkward to use. You have to pull off the bottom , takes too much skill and time in a emergency situation.
