   The 5.11 Tactical LV M4 Shorty Night Watch Bag Turbulence is a nice carry bag that allows for a good amount of storage without being overly bulky or large. Unfortunately it is not quite long enough for most items, but that’s also not what this bag is advertised for either. It holds anything ~26″ in length without issue and feels extremely durable and well constructed. It doesn’t have a ton of pockets, but it has MOLLE all over so you can customize to your heart’s content.

   This 5.11 Bag is a great backpack style to comfortably transport your firearms. This is a high quality bag made of top notch materials and design. The bag includes several pouches for storage and a soft fleece lined pouch for item such as a cell phone or eye protection for maximum protection. This backpack reminds me of the quality of a genuine military issue Alice Pack. The shoulder straps are paddled for comfort and completely adjustable to conform to your body. There are two build-in handles; one at the top and the other on the side of the bag for easy carry and maneuverability. The main compartment includes and heavy duty velcro strap to secure the weapon and ensure it doesn’t shift while getting to your objective.

   This is a nice carry case/ pack for a smaller rifle (29” or less). It is well stitched and has Velcro in place to secure your gun in a nice lining. The pack strap converts easily for carrying your rifle easily. This is a shorty version case so do keep that in mind when ordering. The workmanship has considered accessories you may carry and there are places to zip these up. A well constructed case and reasonably priced for the quality.

   I’m impressed with this Night Watch bag by 5.11 based on my initial impressions and first test. The fabric feels heavy duty, so I’d have no problems taking this to the range with me or throwing it around when shooting in the woods.

   The design is aesthetically pleasing as well. I was able to fit my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 (with folding stock) inside without any major issues though I do have to put it in at an angle.
