Wanted something more substantial than the entry-level razor-blade-in-a-plastic-handles as an emergency seat belt cutter. This delivers. Large, wide, razor sharp curved blade should be easier to use in a stressful situation, ie upside down in a creek bed/river. Theory is good, hopefully will never have to test it.
