While the concept of this jig sounds appealing…the materials used to construct are not. The towers are very weak and flimsy. Just the slightest tension throws the measurement way out of wack. And speaking of measurements…the ruler on the rails is pretty much worthless since you need to use another measuring device to get an accurate measurement. The ruler starts at 1 inch which makes absolutely no sense. It does not take into account the angle of the tower or what size buckel you are attaching. The rails are made of a low grade aluminum and can bend very easily. Not to mention that the point where you connect the additional rails will collapse when you tighten the wing nut, so you have to put a series of washers or place a spacer to eliminate this from occurring. Also when you tighten the wing nuts to secure the flimsy towers to the proper measurement, it will cause an indentation in the rail, as well as, the plastic ruler labeling. All of these issues were evident with using this POS just one time. If it weren’t for the clear indications that this jig has been used, due to the markings left behind while constructing and using this thing just one time…I would return it in a heartbeat and not be sad to see it go. I’ll never use it again, I may just throw it away after I make this review. Seriously, don’t waste your money!

I received my 47″ jig today, and assembled it. The quality is very good. It’s lightweight due to the aluminum, but strong enough to hold up to working weaving.
I am happy with the product so far.
Recommendations:
Include spacers to put under the sections where they join to ensure that when you tighten it, it doesn’t warp or bend the jig. That would make it much more sturdy also. I am currently using 3 stainless steel washers on each tower bolt. It works, but when I store it away, the washers have a tendancy to fall.
Include extra foam for each of the connection areas, so if I use just a single 15″ part, it has support, also at the 31″ length. This would make the product even more attractive to those of us that travel and only take what we need, and not the entire product.

Works well enough but the holes to attach the suction cups are not the best position. Maybe have multiple options depending on size needed. Also instructions on how to attach various buckles would be nice.

Might Be good idea to put nut slots on rails to stop them from spinning under the holes to tighten them and spacers to keep them from crushing at the holes. you also missed a hole in the rail that was not opened up to put a bolt thru. The one rail won’t go on top of the other from one end. Other than those things I mentioned it looks good. I won’t know how well it functions till I make something on it.

So compact, thin and lightweight, easily fits into my craft bag when on the go. Versatility of using any size buckle, clip or attach to rod. Like it much better than the wooden bulky jigs. Half the price of the bulky wood jigs that can reach this length. Was going to create my own but probably saved money, time and frustration.

I was slightly concerned by the photos, but given the modular nature or the jig it had what I was looking for. Upon arrival I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the finish and quality of construction. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend them.
