   私の体格は大きい方で手のひらも大きいと思いますがサイズ的にしっくり来てます。ナイフは小ぶりに見えますが、日常使いや、アウトドアで十分なサイズ感です。手持ち部分は金属製で、所有感が満たされますし、丈夫です。流石はベンチメイドって感じです。高価なナイフだと思いますが、買って良かったと思ってます。

   I own several Benchmade knives; really I’m not comfortable carrying anything else. The blade release is safe, the hand feel is spot on. I was interested in a flat edge and tried a Much smaller Benchmade offering. It seemed like it was made for a child. This is a proper tool. It feels perfect, immediately. I look forward to many, many years of dependable service from it as an EDC.

   Am glad I spent the extra cash on this and not the original bailout. Nothing wrong with the original, but this knife is exceptional. The shade of green they chose for the aluminum handle is really nice. Is like a bright olive. There is texturing on the handle for some grip. The M4 blade, the grey coating is really nice, has a stonewashed look to it. Which is beautiful. The basher/window breaker is nice and thick, which I am a big fan of. The knife is very lightweight. Same pocket clip as the Bugout I have. Opens and closes as should. Is centered when closed. Tip is even. Edge grind is even. No wiggle when open. All edges are smooth. No scratches or flaws. Is hair shaving sharp. All the stuff I can pick on is in great shape. Is really a super good looking knife. Is very light and slim. Am very happy with my purchase.
   This is not my first Benchmade. Is my 14th. Among around 80 folders. So I have alot to compare to. For the steel upgrade, awesome green aluminum handle, and thick basher is definetly worth the extra cash. Can’t wait to take it to work and show my knife buddies.

   I’ll begin by saying I’m not hard on my gear at all- so I’m probably exactly who this knife is meant for. So far I’ve used this knife for all of the clichéd knife chores (opening mail, removing thread, and slicing some fruit). The blade came quite sharp, and it excelled at all the aforementioned tasks. Although I will say the Cerakote on the blade causes a bit of scratchiness/friction when cutting into food- not awful, but if you cut a lot of food I can see this getting annoying quickly. The tacti-cool flair of the knife is very well done, almost classy, and the plastic handle isn’t nearly as cheap-feeling as I expected it to be. It’s also noticeably lighter than my previous carry which was the Benchmade Mini Griptilian (pictured). As it’s so light, I actually found myself patting my pocket throughout the couple days I’ve been carrying it, just to make sure it was still there. It also carries like a dream thanks to the deep-carry pocket clip, and securely grips your pocket thanks to the same. Deducted one star for the pocket clip: I removed it to wipe it down with WD-40 as it is finished with black oxide and was leaving a bit of black residue on my pants- no big deal at all. However, upon replacing the clip, there’s some very subtle side-to-side wiggle. It’s slight, but enough to bug me. Take this critique for what its worth as I was the one who messed with the knife, but for $145 there should be a bit more ability to handle tinkering. That said, I called Benchmade, told them about the wiggle, and they have two replacement clips with screws in the mail headed my way. Pretty rad. Overall a solid light-duty, everyday carry sort of kit. There’s a lot of negativity about this piece online at the moment, but if you can stomach the (gasp) SOFT HEAT TREAT(!!!) of the “designer” steel, the minimalist construction, as well as the hefty price tag, there’s a lot to appreciate here.

   Wohl eines der schlechtesten Messer die ich je in Händen hielt… sehr enttäuschend.
   Schlechte Materialien und stumpfe Klinge, fühlt sich eher an als hätte ich dieses Messer an der Schießbude gewonnen.
   Unglaubliche Frechheiten wenn man an den Preis denkt.
