Robust. The handle is well performed but the blade need better finishing. Also, the locking mechanism tends to get stucked, making it difficult to unlock the blade. Some work was necessary before it gets some smoothness.

Great knife and probably my favorite to date for everyday use. Holds a nice edge just as many of my other knives made with S30v steel. I like the linear sliding push saftey to keep it closed. My only hang up is the locking pin for when its open. It often adhears to the adjoining metal too securely, making closing the blade difficult.

Sleek Benchmade knife. My favorite of the five I own. I experienced the safety lock freeze up as described in another review. Penetrating lube and a bit of torque cured the knife of this defect. I attribute it to the close tolerances of the build. Does not reduce my opinion of the blade. Note, there are no thumb studs, only the rear protrusion to initiate the open assist.

The Vector is Benchmade quality solid. Rock tight lock up, perfect centering and good quality craftsmanship. I could do without the assisted flipper and would prefer it manual, that sodas, it is so well executed that I still love three product.
The secondary locking mechanism is thoughtfully employed and makes securing the blade closed fairly intuitive.
AIM around goodness here.

Absolutely beautiful knife. Very robust, but not incredibly heavy. The Assist brings the knife up smoothly with no play. I have a mini barrage that snaps to attention with the assist. This one is not as snappy, but very smooth its probably because the blade is longer and heavier. I absolutely love this beast.

Awesome knife. Waited over a month for this knif from one of the popular knife sites, but it never came. Seen it on githubja.com and jumped on it right away. Price was good and it turned out to be a numbered first run edition of 1200. Super happy that this purchase was my first Benchmade.

Knife would only open till the blade formed a V with the handle. The blade locking mechanism was assembled wrong! Keeping the knife from opening all the way. Expect better quality from a knife that costs $190+!
Returning the knife.

Incredibly sharp out of the box and I’ve only had to touch it up a couple times after heavy use. I got it 4 months ago and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Assisted opening is a bit superfluous for my use but that’s just me being picky
