   The Artemis T28 is one exceptional hunting light that I’ve had the pleasure of testing in the field against farm rats! Let’s go through the details: PACKAGING: the light comes packaged in some very sturdy, thick foam padding, with compartments separating the accessories from the light to prevent any dings or scratches. I was impressed with the professional appearance of the box. ACCESSORIES: the fact that the light comes with two rechargeable 5000mAh batteries is impressive, as well as a charging cord that plugs directly into the battery. The light also comes with a mount, and while the mount was awesome, it clamps down on both sides of the mount equally. By that, I mean that you might have trouble with it if you’re using it on a larger scope than 1” diameter (which is about the width of the light tube). My scope tube was about the same so I didn’t have any issue. The best accessory, however, is the pressure pad with on/off switch and +\- brightness controls. That made all the difference in my hunting experience, making it extremely easy to get light on subjects rapidly. BRIGHTNESS: speaking of the actual light, it was very bright on all three colors to be highly effective in the field. Even with the red and green (which are not as high in lumens as the white), I could see everything easily. The adjustable lens of the light made this even better, switching between a wide throw for scanning or sharp throw for pinpoint identification. DURABILITY: the light held up to a lot of shock as I used it without ever blinking or disconnecting (which I have had occur using other flashlight brands in the past). The only hiccup was the rear button as it didn’t work very well out of the box. I could have requested a replacement, but there was no need since I use the pressure pad. All in all, I’m very impressed with this light. It was durable in my testing and use, bright, easy to use, feature rich and all around an excellent contender!

   Works quite well. It’s bright. Has three colors and can be focused down to a smaller cone of light. Only thing I don’t really like is the mount. It doesn’t really stay very tight. You bump it on something and it goes crooked. I have it on an air rifle for shooting 20-30 yards so not a big deal. But if you were going to use it for coyote hunting, I’d guess the inconsistency would affect accuracy a bit. I’d want it mounted solidly the way a scope is mounted.

   I got this light to use while hunting as it has three bulbs in one, which is swapped by only using a selector switch. This is a huge improvement over other lights I’ve used that you have to disassemble and switch the bulbs. Not anymore! Predator hunting you have red or green at the flip of a switch! Then for finding downed game you have white. The brightness is impressive I’ve picked up eyes with it out to at least 500 yds. The flood/zoom feature is easy enough to operate with one hand which is also a huge plus. Not to mention the intensity knob on the end of the handle is very convenient and easy to operate. Definitely bright enough to scan for incoming targets as well as find it once it’s down. The battery life is also impressive, I charge it up before I head out and it has yet to die on me in a single outing. I’d say 6 hrs at least maybe more depending on which level of intensity you use. It came with a charging cord, battery, spare o-ring, and pressure switch if you wanted to run it mounted on your weapon. Overall I’ve been very impressed with this light, it lives in my hunting bag or truck. Never leave home without it!
