   Genuine police handcuffs. These are for larger people, where police officers would normally link 2 pairs of handcuffs together, for people who are so large they cannot get their arms behind their back close enough.

   TV and Movies often use longer chain handcuffs like these because they are perceived to look cooler or have more of a visual impact. The movie “Salt” went too far at the end using super ultra long chain handcuffs lol!

   Of course, if used in the bedroom, these Peerless 6 inch chain cuffs offers more flexibility of use-options (Gerald’s Game movie used the 6 inch versions of Smith & Wesson handcuffs)

   These handcuffs are exceptionally good quality, work perfectly, are secure and they’re just great!

   So I carry these for work. It helps avoid tying up both sets of handcuffs when you have a larger person detained. However, I wouldn’t put these on a slender person that can use the extra length to slip them under their feet and get their hands in front of them.

   The wrist part of the cuffs are normal size. For some reason no one has thought that someone large enough to need an extra long chain is also large enough to need extra large cuffs. So your only choices are normal size cuffs with extra large chain or extra large cuffs with normal size chain. Can anyone make cuffs that have both large cuffs and long chain for thos big men with broad shoulders and large wrists!

   I do some SB and the extended chain is excellent. It provides the desired restraint but allows for some fun flexibility. Please be careful if the keyhole is out of sight. It uses a universal key but peerless is very good at making the keyhole small. The cuff size is great for small wrists. Don’t forget to use the double locking feature. The longest I’ve gone is just over 2 hours and was extremely comfortable. The extended chain made it fun but flexible. Highly recommend them.

    I wanted to write this review because I wanted to give thoughts from a ladies perspective.
    The chain is longer than the average cuff which is what I was looking for, still be secured tightly but not put into a compromising position that feels like my shoulders about to pop out it’s socket.
    My first instinct is to head towards S&W brand but for ones similar to these they are just too expensive, this delivers a quality product for a great price. Honestly the main difference between the two that I can see is the finish on these/shininess, but let’s be honest that’s not what I’m here for.
    The double lock is great so I’m not accidentally forcing them tighter and cutting off my circulation, which is needed for my specific use.
    We have used these about 4 times so far and each time has been quite enjoyable! And don’t worry, the universal key works for them if you had that thought.
