Works great for my PCC and gear. Straps are a bit short but will work.

Pack build quality is excellent. It fits my PC Carbine and accessories just fine. The weak spot most everyone points out is the shoulder strap lengths hence the lower ratings. It’s made for a small hobbits I think. Easy fix though – order some 1” black webbing and triple glide locking slides from Strapworks. Cut the old straps off the pack and custom design the length you need. Sharp scissors and a knife are all you need. You can re-use the old male clips and make it functional for your body type or application. Ninepeak makes the exact matching 1” side release buckle, but not in black oddly. The padded portion of the strap is also short, but I am not backpacking a 9mm thru the woods or urban areas so long hiking comfort is not necessary for me. That’s what rifle slings are for IMO. Back and forth to the range in a discreet pack is all I was after and to the passing eye, it’s a backpack which is exactly what I was after.. Takes less than 30 minutes to make the modifications. Still recommend it with the strap shortcomings. Customize it and make it your own.

As advertised, Ruger breakdown friendly

Although I just received this bag, it is exactly what I was looking for, for the PCC backpacker. I can not attest to its durability just yet. But it’s got what I need.

Good Bag for Ruger Take-downs.
10/22 and PC9 will fit.
Adding a red-dot won’t be an issue.
Adding a2-7x optic makes it very tight (but still usable) for a 10/22 and probably not possible for a PC9.

This a very well made, roomy bag which holds my Ruger PC Takedown, several magazines, and boxes of ammo. There is room for a pistol too. My carbine is set-up for Glock mags so my Glock 19 fits in with the carbine. This is a very good bug-out bag. There is only one flaw; the shoulder straps are a bit short for me. I am 6’2″/260# and with the straps fully extended, I can get the bag on my back, just. If you are any bigger, you may have to modify the shoulder straps. Otherwise, it’s a great bag. It looks like it is the same bag as the one on the ShopRuger site, minus the Ruger logo and $20.

Love this back pack. Designed for SBR or take down rifles. Extremely light weight, but still packs a lot of features. My favorite feature is the ability to remove your firearm just by opening the top of the pack.
This pack has a lined pocket for your rifle and a separate pocket for a takedown barrel with two additional interior mag pouches. Even with your rifle inside, there is still plenty of room for storage. Nice sholder straps and good padding. Highly recommend this pack.

Pros:
-Seems well made.
-Fits Ruger PCC with optic with some room to spare.
-Lots of places for both 17 and 33 round mags.
-Pockets for cleaning tools and a sleeve for a suppressor or more mags.
-Very well padded both from the outside and between various pockets. Extra padding on bottom.
-Not covered in pointless moly.
-Looks like a normal hiking backpack, nothing tacticool about it.
Cons:
-A bit pricey.

I DID! it’s a tight fit but upper with a 16″ and optics fit in the long sleeve diagonally with lower in the smaller sleeve. I threw in a little extra padding in the smaller sleeve to be between the 2 units. Room enough for four 30 mags and some gear. Solid construction and discreet. 10/10

This backpack is great for carrying a firearm that is a takedown style. There are two large, long pockets inside that are lined with a soft material. One is for the barrel, the other for the stock. There is a 2-part long pocket pouch, also inside for long, narrow items. There is a mesh pocket inside as well for glasses, ear protection, whatever. Outside is a 2-part main pocket for items as well as a zipper pouch on the top edge. The straps are padded and the pack is made so that there is no imprinting to be able to know what is inside. Pretty inconspicuous. I have three of them now.

I’ve used this a number of times to go to the range and took it hiking with me last week. It is a very comfortable backpack. It holds my Glock 19, Ruger PC Carbine, seven 33 round magazines, and so much more with ease. I also like that I can throw a little lock on the zippers and keep my young sons out of it when it is not living in the safe. The best part is absolutely no one can tell this is a gun bag. It is very discreet and for a city dweller like me, this is a must.
