   Very nice backpack. Very well made. I wish it had a mesh water bottle holder on one of the sides and one or two additional velcro straps. I am very pleased with the backpack and will add a few things to suit my purpose. I would definitely recommend it to others.

   I bought this directly through Elite, but they will NOT post the review I wrote. It’s the EXACT review I am listing here. This bag could be perfect for an EDC carry bag. It is VERY well made, so discreet that it looks more like a bookbag than a “backpack” let alone a rifle case, and it’s a perfect size for EDC. First the positives. Like I said, the construction is great. The materials used are very high end and tough. I have been carrying this bag daily now for almost a year and it shows very little signs of wear. The main storage pocket is a great size and the two front will also hold a bunch. The lower front pocket is well designed with inner pockets to store stuff. The inside pocket design is well thought out (for the most part…see below) and holds an SBR securely. The MOLLE on the front flap holds items secure. The ballistic plate pouch is easy to access and will hold most plates. The zippers are also high end and durable. There are 3 handles on the top and both sides of the bag that are beefy. They look and feel like they could support a ton, They allow you to grab this bag from any side and carry. The shoulder straps look and feel like that will support even more than the handles. I carry a 4″ AR-9 with four 32rd mags, a Silencerco Omega 9k, an Olight Seeker Pro, and an Esee Izulu 2, and a ballistic panel, along with all of my daily junk I take with me. The straps handle this weight with complete ease. I usually carry with one strap and it holds the weight without any wear in almost a year (more on this below). The bottom material is amazing. almost no wear even though the barrel is literally forcing it into the ground constantly. I love the look, construction, and durability of this bag, so why the low rating? Well the down sides are just to much to overcome to score a high rating. First off, the belt straps…UGH!! These are SO completely unnecessary. I could see having these if you were using this bag for hiking, but this bag is not big enough for an SBR AND minimal hiking gear, even if you used it for a day hiking. Like I said earlier the straps are SO strong the belt is not needed. Worse yet with the pockets on the side they are ALWAYS in the way. The pockets are useless and you cannot tuck the belt away. I would literally cut them off, but the bag is so well made this would effect the overall integrity of the bag. I can also see these on their larger bag, but this one they are just not needed, are in the way, and IMO take away from the “stealth” of this bookbag looking case. Second, the top fold up pocket is absolutely useless. Why not just install another zipper and make this pocket useable? The fold flap does NOT stay secured no matter what way you fold the flaps or how tight you pull the straps down. This is such a waste of needed space. I rarely use this pocket and when I do it is for nothing of value, nor care to lose. Third, the shoulder strap design and the materials used make it very hard to carry with one strap. The bag is going to be heavy and the strap design will not allow you to carry it comfortably and securely with one shoulder. The straps are MORE than strong enough to carry like this but the neck design and materials will not allow it to stay on your shoulder. This is so annoying. When you carry into work or to your house you should not need to carry this with it two shouldered. Lastly, but the most hated part of this bag. This bag was so well designed to be “stealth” it’s THE name of the freaking bag. It looks so discreet you’d never know from the OUTSIDE that it’s an SBR case. Unfortunately you CANNOT open it without displaying to EVERYONE around what you have in your bag. There should be a folding divider in the main pouch specifically to prevent this. I made a divider for exactly this and it’s never in the way and completely keeps the rifle hidden. the main portion of this bag is useless in public. This is SUCH a deal killer with this STEALTH bag. Like I said I SO want to love this bag. Incredible construction, it is built like a tank. I will continue to carry this bag as there is NOTHING like it out there and if Elite made a Gen 2 of this bag with these little changes I would buy another in a second. Unfortunately the down sides of this, especially the full display when opened, ruin it for me. 5 starts for the look, materials, construction, durability, and the outside “stealth” of this bag. 2 stars for the execution in the design on the straps, belt, top pocket, and the inside “stealth”, overall 3 stars. Hopefully Elite will look at this critique and accept it for just that… a critique of mostly an awesome product, but their refusal to submit my review on there site speaks volumes.

   The price is on the higher end but the bag quality is great. The design of the bag was really well thought out. Gives me confidence the firearm is secure and well protected from damage. The hold down straps accommodate my firearm really well. I ordered an extra hold down direct from the manufacturer. I highly recommend this bag. Worth the price.
