This not so much a review but more of a brag. Lazer strike like all esee products is no different…. It is awesome!!! Made in USA with a no question ask warranty is a no brainer. 1095 steel and came out of the box very sharp. I started using it right away to strip bark of a walking stick. The edge didn’t even come close to being dull. The scales are very comfortable…. For me…. And the knife has good balance. It’s a great all around knife and also comes with a little fire kit underneath the scales. The price is amazing….. It would be over 200 bucks in most companies. Esee is definitely a winner.

Most people seem too be split 50/50 on this knife I for one fall into the side of loving it, The handle feels great and provides a very strong grip, The blade is a tank and feels unbreakable, And having a fire starting kit in the handle is an awesome plus. Now I also feel the need to point out this has the best stock sheath I have ever gotten with a knife, I have never had an ESEE knife before and from what I can tell they all come with very nice Kydex sheaths so if that’s the standard for them it’s another reason too look into this brand of knives over others. The only negative I have is this knife does have a slight issue with “biting” into things so could be a issue when feathering wood or what have you, I haven’t done anything to the stock edge it came with yet because it arrived extremely sharp and I haven’t really dulled it significantly yet but I have seen other people mention this online as well so it’s worth noting.

Good size, good shape, handy every day carry (EDC). Have been very impressed with ESEE knives. This is my third – all different.

Shaving razor sharp out of the box. I love this knife, it’s my hunting/backpack/camp knife. You can’t go wrong with a TRANSFERABLE warranty .

I love Esee products let’s start with that. I have several of their knives. This is the largest esee I own. I like the spear point and the high grind. The fire steel and tinder it’s a little gimmicky but it doesn’t bother me. The sheath is a nice kydex, the belt clip plate works fine but you can probably attach a leather strap as a belt loop. Perfect size for a camp knife, outdoor knife, survival knife. Not overly heavy easy to handle. Esee 1095 is awesome it gets razor sharp and doesn’t take much to get a working edge. These knives a quality and love the design, value. 1095 is prone to rusting but with the heavy coating Esee knives have you might get some rust on the edge if the environment is too wet but just apply your preference of lubricant to the blade and you should be good. I use sentry tuff glide on all my knives and apply it all over even the micarta handles. The only complaint some people might have is the blocky handle scales not a big deal you can sand it where you need it or can easily get aftermarket ones. I have large hands so I like the large handle scales. This knife does not get as much love as the 3/4/5/6 but it’s an excellent knife.
