Great knife. Blade comes decently sharp from the factory. Overall well built piece.

Extremely solid design, with clear attention to detail throughout. I especially enjoy the rear flipper that becomes a thumb guard when disengaging the locking mechanism, for secure one handed closing with minimal risk of cigar chopping. Grippy scales that aren’t too hard on pockets. N690 is a great choice, offering excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention with decent enough toughness for this type of blade. Time-tested Emerson wave feature. Just the right size. Even has a “spyder hole” opener. Oh, and the frame lock is among the best I’ve ever seen, with 100% of the lock bar engaging the blade at about midway through the axis: pretty ideal.
Will dock a star at least if the pocket clip breaks, but so far so good on mine.

Couldn’t ask for a better knife. Perfect for Illinois where 3 inch is the limit on the size of blade you can carry in public.

Bought for my fiancé as a gift. I swear this thing is as sharp as they come. He uses it daily and it’s still as sharp as a hypodermic needle at the tip. Just ask his thumb lol.

The build quality is top notch, the blade is razor sharp, the weight, and geometry is are nice. My only complaint is with deployment. The “Emerson wave” is meh. I have a crkt provoke that deploys far smoother, and faster. That is the only knock on this knife. Other than that I really enjoy it. I love that it can be deployed ambidextrously unlike the Provoke.
