This fit great and I feels great. I love the front access to the game bag. The front pockets are plenty big and easily fit a box of 3-1/2″ 12 gauge shells in each pocket. My only gripe is once and a great while my zipper will start to separate from the bottom up. But I only have to unzip it and zip it back up and it fixes it. This problem rarely happens. I also bought one for a friend I hunt with and his doesn’t have any issues and fits great. I will definitely buy another Gamehide Front Loader Vest when this one wears out. For the price you can’t beat it.

So I’ve used this vest for one season (dove, duck, quail) and its held up well. Especially since I hunt quail in a lot of mesquite and cat claw. The material on the front of the vest does of good job of not getting hung up on thorns. A big plus. Its made of light material so it can be worn on those occasional hot days. Reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is b/c the shell holders near the pockets are not of great quality. They look a little worn out after one season and not too sure they will last another without the shells falling out.

Pockets are large only in the front, no pockets interior, no zipper pockets, game bag doesn’t unzip for easy cleaning, single stitches, plastic zipper, shell holder only hole 5 per side, no water bottle or shock collar pocket, no padded shoulder gun patch, no fit adjustments at all, not oversized as some claim. . Crap, sell out to China.

I used this vest on a very hot day hunting dove. It held plenty of shells at the ready for quick reloads. It looks great with very sharp and crisp coloring. It has a nice bag on the back for carrying your birds.
