I really wanted to like this pouch as it is highly recommended. However I could not figure out the plastic molle attachment strips that came with it. No instructions came with the pouch, and I even tried looking for online videos, but never found anything to show how it’s done. I ended up returning it, because of lack of customer support. I give it a 3 just because it’s built well. After looking at it I don’t see why they couldn’t have used traditional molle straps.

goes perfect with a battle belt. Only issue is that its, not big enough to hold medical supplies for multiple patients. But, remember a battle belt is not for sustained combat operations.its designed for rapid response during limited short term actions. So, this is ideal until you can reach your primary aid bag. Well made with durable material.

This setup is great on your Battle belt/pistol belt / 1st line gear. It is very compact 3even small by s9me standards. It is much smaller than the Condor Ripaway EMT pouches. These are meant for your trama kit only. If your looking for an IFAK this isn’t it. You need this for your blowout kit . This is designed to be compact and fast to employ.

Lots of room to stuff the needed items into.

There is another review for this product which suggests it is of insufficient size to carry the appropriate amount of medical supplies. I am writing this review to provide a counter-point. Gear is mission dependant. If you are a police officer who will attach this to your body armor for active shooter or SWAT scenarios, this may be perfect. A larger pouch may be a mistake. Quick clot, bandages and a tourniquet may be all you need. Once the shooting stops and the scene is secured, medics will be in or other officers may be able to assist you. The chances of local police treating sucking chest wounds or performing an emergency tracheotomy are slim to none. I prefer the mobility. Armor setup priorities: 1. Stop holes 2. Plug holes 3. Create holes.
If you’re in the field and expect enemy contact, I agree that a bigger pouch would be better. I fit everything I need and more for my mission in this pouch. It gives me more room to work on creating holes this way.

Great pouch. However it doesn’t fit my needs for a medical pouch. It was too small for my needs. However, you can cram a M18 smoke in there. It’ll be a tight fit, but it’s the only use I could find for it.
If you do decide to use it for a bleeder kit. There’s a pull strap where you can stuff gauze etc, and when you need to deploy it, just tug on the strap, and everything will fall out.

HSGI makes awesome gear, what else needs to be said. This is the perfect answer for my need.
