1. Review – Tactical Backpack Verified Buyer – 28 April 2024

   My review is 2 fold. First about the product, then regarding Highland Tactical’s (HT) poor customer service. I bought this Rumble backpack from TJ Maxx at the beginning of the school year, Aug 2017. My middle school son used it every other day for 6 months. In Jan 2018 it just tore on the bottom of the backpack where the seams are. Mind you my son with his 3 ring binder and school books, it weights may be at most 15-20lbs. Clearly a manufacturer defect. Well, good thing this backpack comes with a 2 year warranty right? So I went to TJMaxx to see if they can return or swap it but they said sorry you have to take up the warranty issue with Highland Tactical. Went to the HT’s website, emailed them per their instructions (this was in March), heard nothing, Emailed them again in April, no response. So now I’m stuck with a broken backpack, and a fake warranty promise. I would give them zero starts if I could.

   My husband ordered this backpack and he initially liked it. It really can store a lot of things. The quality of the bag was good except for some small areas were the stitching didn’t seem very well done. We might got a defective one, because my husband bought the same brand and style backpack at another store and he loves it. Is is not heavy and he likes the quality of the zippers and is comfortable to use during travel. The color is just as pictured.
   I gave it 3 starts because ours was not as expected and we are not sure if it was just the one that was sent to us.

   Fits a laptop in an inside compartment. Very durable fabric and lots of pockets. Bought for my daughter’s grad school classes. Fits books and everything necessary to carry.

   If you purchased this book back for your kids, they will have it for the rest of there school years. I purchased one of these in green when my daughter was in middle school and probably would never have to buy one again, but since she got sick of green, she wanted to go black for high school so I got her this one in black for high school. Super die hard sturdy lots of space zips all the way down plenty of pocket space this is a great book bag for kids and hiking and whatever you want. It’s a die hard book bag I recommend highly.!! Now she has two that will probably last for her for her collage years.
