   𝘁𝗹;𝗱𝗿: Reproduces audio far too sharply, hurts ears. ─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍─╍┄┈┄╍ 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Usually, I wear a Walker’s Razor and shoot at an indoor range. I have no gripes with that headset, besides the fact that I tend to develop some sweat in between the synthetic pads and my head. However, I saw this form factor and figured I could give it a go. I took it to the range with a Glock 44, and my impressions were such: 🔫 They come with three different sized tips, with the medium-size being the default. With headphones, I tend to use smaller silicone ear tips. The medium-size foam tips for these made a good seal without discomfort. 🔫 I like the way Honeywell’s developed the fit around the ear. The ‘cable’ that extends from the earbud portion has some sort of formable metal center, meaning you can shape it to your ear shape and it holds there. That’s fantastic. 🔫 Because of the bulk of each microphone enclosure, it sits oddly on the back of your neck. You don’t feel it, but it does look a little goofy. That’s not an issue of practicality as much as it is one of aesthetics. 🔫 Here’s the key issue. The audio it reproduces is far too harsh. With my Razor, shooting a .22 isn’t anything special. On the lowest volume of these earbuds, each shot feels like it pierces my ears with sibilance. The shooters in my adjacent lanes’ firearms made me wish I didn’t have ears. I had to keep it powered off to have a comfortable shooting experience, which defeats the purpose of this product. These earphones just don’t feel fully thought out. They’ve flubbed their main functionality by rendering gunshots painful to hear. The designers/engineers focused too much on the auxiliary bits like comfort and not enough on its main purpose. These definitely won’t see any more use for me.

   Worked fine at first but despite always handling them carefully, especially the wire, the left ear stopped working within one month of purchase and within one year the battery would not hold any charge and they will go into the garbage. Not worth the money.

   I purchased this product just over one month ago. And was initially impressed. They fit well, are comforable, and have appropriate battery life. Since purchase, I have taken it out to the range on five occasions. Today, I was packing my bag to head to the range and put these in and turned them on to ensure that they were charged and ready to go. To my surprise, the right earbud lit up with loud static that only terminated when I powered off the headphones. I have reached out to Honeywell support and will update this review if I hear back. These are entirely useless in this condition except as normal earplugs in the powered off state. I would expect more than a month’s light duty use for the price I paid.
