The major pro is how bright the light is, which is great for night hunting.
I was going to use it for hog hunting by inserting red gels behind the lens but you can’t get inside the light housing to do that. Attempting to mount the gel on the outside makes it very easy to knock off. Still formulating a solution.
Battery life is pretty poor or at least the battery that came with it didn’t last very long at all. I never used it continuously so I’m thinking it barely lasted an hour, all added up. Maybe two. I may invest in a rechargeable set that fits.
The cheap Chinese light I got of comparable brightness came with rechargeable batteries and they last much longer.
I do like it and it looks good but the low battery life introduces anxiety that it will fail at just the wrong moment. If I find new batteries do better I’ll update the review.

I was looking for a light that would match the FDE color of the Magpul accessories on my AR but still have good function and be bright enough for home defense, and this light fits the bill! It came with clear instructions on how to install and operate. The light is definitely bright enough for my liking and the strobe function is a nice touch! Even though there are plenty of lights for ARs out there that are bright, durable, and stylish to choose from, you won’t be disappointed if you choose this light!

I have three of these. They are plenty bright, obviate the need for mounts or cables, they’re ergonomic, batteries are easy to swap, the light swaps from one platform to another in seconds, and I’ve never had one break on me. Gen I had some issues apparently, but Gen II seems fine.

Great light, great price. Been using InForce lights for personal and professional use for 5-6 years, 5 small, 3 larger (2 battery). Never an issue, hold up in wet, hot, or cold conditions. Handle ruff use with ease. This model is great for shorter barrels. Only uses 5 slot rail spaces. Generation 2 has a bit better ergo angle. Mainly use instant on/off, yet contols flip easily for constant on or strobe. Have purchased 3 of this model from this seller.

This is, an above par tactical light. It’s ergonomics are second to none. The only thing that I would change would be, to fabricate this product from aluminum, for the sake of durability. Perhaps one other change I would make would be to create a better circuit from the light to the battery.
It is kind of irritating that, in order to keep the battery from being drained, you must turn the bezel a quarter turn to prevent a connection. If this were to be used in a crisis situation, you would want to remove as many steps as possible from rest to engagement.
Having to realign the bezel is just another step that should be eliminated. So, in my opinion, battery drain IS an issue, and an issue that shouldn’t be all that difficult for Inforce to address. Other than that, this product does what it was designed to do quite well. Still, the design requires tweaks.
