This bag was good enough to get my gear to my FF1 training classes but not designed as a step-in. I zip-tied a mask carrier to the handle as there was no room inside for a face piece even though there is a pocket inside the bag.

Really no complaints. Have been using this almost daily with no problems. Durable material including the zippers. Easy to carry once loaded due to the upright design. Easy to get gear out once zippers are fully opened. I doubted that it was big enough right up until I put my helmet in. Up until that moment I was thinking- no way but the bag holds full turnouts with ease and had some room left over for a SCBA mask. Reflective material is bright. I’ll be buying another as a gift.

Perfect size to fit boots, bunker pants/coat, gloves and helmet. With room left for a personal SCBA mask. Good quality, heavy duty material.

Muy bonito y diseño y buen material, espacio amplio
After it Verified Buyer –
Was skeptical this bag was going to be small for a set of gear and helmet. Everything fit great.

Awesome bag! It is big enough to fit my entire turnout gear, including boots (and a boot jack) with pants, coat (with gloves and hood in pockets) and helmet. I can step into the boots while they’re still in this bag. It looks good in the back seat of my truck (I’m a volunteer and many times I respond direct to scene in my POV), keeps everything organized and takes up much less space than leaving everything loose. That’s particularly important if I’m throwing the gear aboard an engine for a non-emergency call (parades, training, etc.). Buy this bag!

Great bag. I am a big guy with extra big gear and boots. Holds all my bunker gear including helmet and mask without a problem. For average size firefighter you will be able to add some extras if you wanted to. Well made so far.

Best price for a nice roomy gear bag. I can nicely fit all my bunker gear, including helmet, into this nice bag. As a disclaimer, I have not used it heavily at this point. But I have had no problems with it yet and do not see any potential issues.

After a few weeks of use: it seems well-enough constructed. It is definitely large enough to hold a set of turnout gear, including ‘traditional’ style helmet, SCBA facepiece, bottle of water, and a big clipboard. It’s still baggy, so I could fit in more. It fits nicely in the back of my car, it’s more ‘vertical’ than the duffel style bag I had before. It’s too wide to fit easily into a locker. It’s a bit odd to carry, e.g. from your car to inside the firehouse. It’s fine to pull out from the car and put on the ground. I haven’t dressed from it yet, but it seems feasible. I actually wish it were smaller — would be easier to put into Airflow locker, and would still have room to carry all my stuff. As for “step-in” style, I think it would be nice to store your stuff such that the boots (& hood) were above the jacket (& gloves) which was, in turn, above the helmet and facepiece.
