   As always I was very impressed with the quality of this manufacturer. This is a fantastic bag, with surprising volume. I fit two extra small sea to summit dry bags full of clothing, and a full size DSLR camera in the back compartment, with room for a small netbook, and my 3 L hydration bladder still fits in it’s own compartment. My Katadyn pocket filter and spare element fit in the rectangular compartment nicely. The front square pocket holds tons of stuff too. I’ll be using this as my carry-on bag for international flight, without a worry at all as to whether not I’ll be packing enough. Even fully loaded I was able to fit my Glock 20,2 mags, and a belly band in the CCW compartment.

   Love it. Been using it for over a year, after buying and going through at least a half dozen other packs. Holds a 15″ Macbook Pro well, and has lot of interior pockets and storage. Surprisingly comfortable to wear for long distance walks and standing. I have a bum left elbow (shattered it, and it was replaced with a prosthesis), so I have a very limited range of motion in my left elbow, and this bag is much easier to get on/off than a regular two-strap backpack. The strap locks across your chest and is secure — no one’s taking this thing off of you unless they drag you along — but you could still quickly unbuckle it and release it in an emergency. Because of my injury, I can’t easily rotate it around to access the concealed carry pocket, but I’ve had friends try it, and they’re able to quickly rotate it and access the velcro-loop lined pocket in seconds.

   I got this as my last ever carry on for planes and trips. (fingers crossed) Been looking for a bag that will fit the size for most airlines and this one fits the bill. Lots of pockets and all with quality zips. I bought an additional maxpedition shoulder pad for the lower nylon part of the strap, so its comfy enough now on both my left and right hand side for carrying. I see that shooters would like to keep the right shoulder free from weight and blocks for a clean mount, just be aware of this if your a lefty. Sits well on your back or on your front so you can keep it close at all times if your on a bus or metro. Not slash proof from what I can tell so I would keep valuables (money, passports ect) towards the body in the huge conceal pouch with a velcro fixing. Just be aware there is a hole for the nylon strap to go in so avoid items finger size or they will escape. Grey is a dark hue, so not as bright as the picture but I like it better. Add a few key rings and bright patches just to distract from its military roots and your good to go.

   We bought this about 3 months ago as a dog bag to keep everything we needed for travel with them as we take them with us everywhere. The multiple sizes of pockets has been great, as we have found places for all of the items we carry. My only complaint is the main pocket could have more of the smaller pockets in it have zipper closures as things fall out. The MOLLE attachment system on the outside is very handy for their collars when we have them in their harnesses, collapsible water bowl, and their poop bag holder. We also keep a rotation of things attached with D rings on the outside. The water bottle holder easily holds a 40oz canteen (Bubba, etc). The single strap is really nice when you only have 1 hand to get the bag over your head and easily supports the 25 lbs when this bag is fully loaded with how we use it. This bag is very well made an dwe have yet to even show any signs of wear, and this is moved almost daily. I use a Maxpedition backpack for hunting as well, and the quality from them is top notch, highly recommend. This would make an excellent carry-on bag or messenger/EDC for daily use. Being able to sling the bag along your stomach for easy access in front of you is excellent design and the pockets are well thought out for this use.

   I love this bag, it’s got a spot for everything. Sits a little funny on my shoulder and the strap needs to be a bit longer like the GIGANTIC monsoon bag I have. But overall it’s what is described. I’m 6’1 330lbs, if your a big boy like me consider purchasing the Janus strap extension. Quality is top notch even though not made in the USA. Waist strap is useful while riding my motorcycle. Keeps the bag from jumping around in the wind.
