After too many years of buying inexpensive battery-operated flashlights to attach to my keychain – only to have to discard them after a few months once the bulb or non-replaceable battery wore out — I decided to invest in a better quality one, and am very glad I chose this Nitecore model, which I selected mainly because it features a red light option in addition to the “regular” white one. The brightness options are easy to cycle through and suit just about every situation I’ve needed a flashlight for. While It’s perhaps a little larger than I’d prefer, It’s still astonishingly lightweight and feels solid and very well built. And despite using it daily for night time dog walks, I havent had to recharge the battery since I first topped it off after opening the package over six weeks ago. Very happy with this purchase.
