   Bought this Olight Baldr Mini for my Taurus G2C. It fitted perfectly on the rail, I zeroed the laser using mi sights at home and went to the range and they were pretty close to the target, as you can see the target with 3 magazines using the laser and rapid fire at 15 yards or 45 to 50 feet. After 300 rounds of firing it maintained zero the laser. The brightness of the light is really good, but on the Olight Valkyrie 2 even that is the same 600 lumens tends to be brighter.

   I owned this combo Baldr Mini combo light with a green beam for 3 months. And I have to say that I’m not impressed with how it performed after shooting 100 rounds a few weeks ago. The light is still good but the green dot did not hold and turned into a spreadout green light. I tried reaching out to Olight for their warranty or maybe a replacement but never received any response. For a reputable company such as Olight, their customer service needs some improvement. Don’t get me wrong, this is my 2nd Olight mini and I love their lights but not so with the laser beam. If you have the extra money it’s better to consider looking somewhere else for the high-end laser beam or just stick with their lights. UPDATE: After weeks of waiting, Olight finally responded and corrected this issue by replacing the item. Hopefully this time the beam is shock resistant to keep its zero, only time will tell. For their customer service, I’m changing my rating to 5 stars.

   Update! Changed my review based on I really like the light & it does work great. I sent a message to the manufacturer on Saturday after the bracket fell apart & they replied immediately. They asked for pictures, so I sent them. They sent me a brand new bracket at no charge! Amazing customer service & why I changed my review. I changed it to 5 stars because I do love the light & how it works. EXCELLENT COMPANY & CUSTOMER SERVICE!! 1st review below Have no clue how to put all the 9 small parts back together. Waste of $130!!! Can’t get support either! Ridiculously frustrating! I liked it when it was mounted to my FN America FDE 45. Worked pretty cool, until the 4th time!

   This is exactly what I was looking for and exceeds my expectations. It is small, light, and fits perfectly on the Gl 17. It has rock solid fit and finish. The light and laser combo is perfect and bright. It took me a minute or two to install it just because I refused to read the instructions, but I figured it out. You have the option of only activating the laser, only activating the light, or activating both. The switch to activate the light/laser feels good and is not something I think will be accidentally switched on or off. For the money, I think this will serve its purpose and not let you down. Charging is a breeze and it also charges some of the other Olights I have. Very happy I stopped debating and just bought it.

   So for 124$ you get a green laser and flashlight combo. Looks great on the G2C. The laser is bright, flashlight is bright. Havent brought to the range yet (ill update when I do) however, there is a VERY obvious design flaw that Olight has ignored regardless of hundreds, if not thousands of reviews stating the adjustable mount will not allow the laser to remain zeroed. Even with just simple handling, a light pressure, holstering and unholstering, the light moves maybe 2/16 of a cm on the adjustable mount. At 10 yards this equates to roughly (used my finger) 2 inches of movement off the boresight laser in any, random direction. I could only imagine at 20 yards.. I would assume about 4 inches.. This makes the laser completely useless for peace of mind and accurate self defense. Sure if your within 10 yards, 2 inches doesnt sound like much, and if your just finding center mass then maybe its not a big deal however that is not the point. When dealing with life or death scenarios high accuracy is a must.. If just a bit of pressure moves the laser I can only imagine what actually shooting it is going to do. A large majority of even the highly rated (4 star +) mention this issue. They still have not offered a solution. Im going to the range in a couple days. I just hope it stays on the gun at this point.. Even if it does, I still may send it back to get something more reliable. I mean, the flashlight is great.. but I could have saved 40$ buying just the flashlight.. Thinking of just sucking it up and buying the TL-8.. We will see how the range trip goes. Update when done. (Edit) Finally hit the range. It stayed on my gun for 300 rounds. In the original review I had it on my G2C. On my range trip I brought mt Canik TP9 Elite SC. The light had the exact same amount of movement when pressure was applied. Again its a defect with the mounting ratchet, not the rail attachement. That part is nice n tight. The laser moved around a bit but it does end up going back to where you set it. However the fact the laser moves around during operation makes it not accurate. As I said before its fine if your just finding center mass.. or as a quick reference point, but I wouldnt rely on it to be consistently accurate at a distance. Thats the final review.

   I have a lot of OLight stuff. Not a single product has failed me in years of active use. The BALDR Mini is an excellent micro light/laser combo. The mount it comes with is a QD with a lot of available adjustment. I’m a big fan and totally ignore the trolls who “dis” the company. My experience speaks volumes as to the quality. The only downside, OLight has been raising prices a lot. They risk losing a large percentage of their captive audience if they’re not careful. The main reason I love the stuff is the high quality combined with the value proposition. If the value is no longer a factor, I’ll look elsewhere next time. Happy Labor Day 24 all.

   Quality build! Very easy to install and operate. Magnetic usb charger is great. Fits tightly on the rail, does not stick out past the muzzle the way I have mine adjusted. Easy to zero in the laser which is bright and very visible at several yards. The light is very bright, enough to light up a dark area and conceal you. Having the laser and light on at the same time is nice too. Very pleased with this purchase. Would buy another one if needed.

    Seems to work just fine. Nice quality. Unfortunately, it does NOT fit on a Walther PK380 without a bit of carving to the polymer frame. I did not want to do this, so I just put it aside to use on a different pistol another time. Th Walther PK380 has kind of a non-standard rail, so this was actually not a huge surprise to me.
