I have other Pelican flashlights and think they are a great product so when I ordered this one I was excited to check it out. It arrived today. Package looked new. Opened it up. It came with one (1) AA battery that appeared to be from overseas and the AA sleeve. It also came with one (1) unmarked, but assumed to be CR123 (it was all black), and a sleeve but it needs two (2) CR123 batteries. I happened to have CR123 new batteries. I tried both the AA (new) and CR123. The green programming light stayed on after the appropriate number of semi-presses but never flashed. The flashlight LED never came on. Not in programmed mode or default. When I went to return it it was suggested that I contact customer service at Pelican. I tried but got a voice message saying due to labor shortages (blaming COVID) that no one could help me. Really? I then went back and decided to request a refund, printed out the label and returned it to UPS. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN PELICAN. The provider, Adorama, quickly sent me a refund authorization (will not see refund until unit reaches them). Disappointing. I have a number of Pelican cases and have had for years. Love them. Sad to say this was another step down.

Nice flashlight should have a 180 lumen setting 25 lm way to low. 18650 works fine you just need to make sure you buy button too not flat top 18650 overall 3.7 out of 5 because of the useless 25 lumen.
