The absolute best noise cancelling / hearing protection you can ever own. I work in film and TV doing practical spfx. On my current show I’m shooting sweenie guns as cast/stunts are have MAJOR close quarters gun fights. The the concussive blows from the gunfire washing over me as I concentrate and do my job is mandatory to pull off the illusion of reality. These head phones deaden all gunfire to 20 db and you can hear all talking and other none sharp / deafening sounds. You can adjust volume up or down to your preference. Ive found that if you turn up the volume you can hear every whisper as people wear face masks on set for protection. Even the ETF officer that attended set was jealous of mine. Id recommended these to anyone working in film and TV that work around loud sharp noises. Very comfortable to wear for hours. They do have a set of orange covers that are interchangeable from black.

Had a pair of these for 10 years with gel cups and loved them for all day use, then I left them at a match. Bought the new 300 series, thinking they must be better. Nope. The rigid headpiece of the 300’s wouldn’t keep equal pressure around my ear, digging in at the bottom and leaving a gap at the top of the ear, and they weren’t comfortable. Returned and bought these again… they were really comfortable, and amplified better so I can put in ear plugs and ramp up the sound when shooting indoors.

The best thing about these earmuffs is how they can pickup very quiet noise and make it audible while not deafening you by over amplifying other louder sound. Very good for hunting. When they are ON, the sound suppression for loud noises works good but could be a bit better. Boomsticks noise are still pretty loud at the range but it’s not that bad. When turned off, they quiet everything down to a very low level. All in all, good product

I know fit can be a very personal thing, but these fit my ears perfectly. I got both these and the Howard Leight Impacts, to compare head on. The biggest difference for me, is that I cannot quite get the Impacts to stay on my ears consistently. As I move my head around, or shoulders, they pivot and the cups lift slightly, breaking the seal. This can be quite dangerous, if you care about your hearing. Especially with high-powered rifles, you sometimes see the recoil kicking the earphones right off the person’s ears. You want to make sure the fit is tight and secure. WIth the Peltor’s that’s exactly what I get. No fidgeting it around, to get a good seal. The ear cups don’t lift off my head, as I move around or change position. I like that the Peltor’s come with changeable covers too (mine came with black installed, and an extra pair of bright orange covers). Downsides of the Peltor’s? The biggest is price, these cost three times as much as the Howard Leight Impact. Battery’s a bit harder to change too (I had to double check the manual to be sure how to do it), and controls not quite as intuitive as the Impact. But at the end of the day, safety is the top priority, so the Peltor’s are the ones I pack with me whenever I go to the range, not the Howard Leights.

At an indoor range, I double-plugged. I don’t know if I needed to. The percussive effect of all the guns firing was more significant than any hearing issues. I could easily hear my instructor, but he was standing right next to me. Last weekend I was at an outdoor range firing simultaneously with 14 other people, sometimes rapid firing. Using the volume control of the headset, I was able to amplify the orders the range officer was barking, and I never felt like it was too loud, even without double-plugging. I wore the headset over the weekend for about 15 hours, only occasionally remove it. I never got cauliflower ear; it was always comfortable. I’ve been told that there’s a parasitic drain on the batteries, so I always remove them when I’m not at the range.

Sound quality and comfort is great, but I think the battery life claim is a stretch. I shoot uspsa matches, and it feels like every other match (lasting 5-6 hours) I have to change the batteries.

I really did not want to spend over a hundred dollars for a Range Headset, but WOW do these work great. That are well worth the cost to purchase. I can actually hear around me while shooting. The gun shots are reduced in volume as expected. The Tactical Sport Headset is comfortable and not to hot, even in the Arizona heat. I purchased the headset wire for listening to music/phone, which is assume. Listening to music while shooting, and still being able to hear events around me! Great purchase.

集音の音が一回り大きくヘッドバンドなどがシンプルで頑丈な感じ。
イヤーパッドは質感は100のほうがいい感じしますが、長時間つけてて楽なのはこちら。比較するとちょっとコシがないやわらかい感じかも？
イヤーマフとしては電動工具での作業や騒音化で音楽を聴くときにイヤホンの上につける形で使っていますが、遮音性はいい感じです。電動工具使った後の耳がキーンとする感じないのでとても良いです。それでも会話もできるのがもっといいです。
サバゲーでも使ってみましたが、音はさすがに耳と同じようにとは言えませんがまあ困らないぐらい。
無線も混ぜてみようとしましたが、これが癖物。J22という端子らしいですが、純正のケーブルは手に入らないし、すごく高いらしい。COMTAC用のレプリカマイクの端子が同じことに気が付いて、買って切って3.5mmジャックを付けたら一応使えました。入力はモノラルのみでした。ご参考まで。
