   Unless you’re a basketball player or football lineman there’s no way you are concealing this on your body and in our opinion it’s way too large to utilize in a firing position as well.

   High quality. Well thought out. Hits hard and is loud. Picananny rail allows for light/laser. Fits hand beautifully. In grip safety. Adjustable sights are already zeroed in and easy to see in low light conditions. Mag is great and easy to use. Takes two seconds to pierce c02 and I’ve found this type of piercing system the most reliable. You can hear and feel the c02 engage. Adjustable sights are very cool. Very very glad I purchased this. Sabre did well with this one…ty Sabre. Update 3/2…Kinda concerned about some of these reviews. This is not a toy, please read the directions being using. The co2 is NOT pierced until you need it. You can buy more kinetic and pepper rounds online. It does NOT matter if you can or not hit something 60ft away. This is for self defense not hunting. 93% of self defense situations occur between 10 to 20ft. If you want to practice just use .68 nylon with a cardboard box. You can always wash the balls off and reuse them.

   For less/non-lethal home defense I have a Byrna carbine that fires inert .68 caliber hard projectiles using CO2 cartridges just like this pistol from SABRE. The small form factor rifle is nice, but there are without a doubt many benefits to the sidearm form factor, and I’ve been on the lookout for one for some time now. To that end, I am judging the form factor and performance of this launcher against a Byrna HD. To skip past the pros and cons, my overall take is that this is extremely good for the price point, but it is slower and more awkward to deploy. In the end I’m happy with it but feel that the CO2 puncture method could be better. Pros: + Very comfortable to hold with a good weight even loaded with a full magazine and CO2. + Familiar form factor for people who use standard firearms. + Non-slip grip works well even with wet hands. + Light catching high glow sights work well. + Grip safety ensures a solid grip, though there isn’t much kick to speak of. + Very accurate at any indoor home defense distances. + Uses standard 12gram CO2 cartridges you can source from anywhere. + Magazine can be preloaded, and CO2 put in place. + In all my testing I never had a single jam. + Works perfectly with Byrna inert projectiles as well. Cons: – Magazine doesn’t freely drop when the release button is hit. – Punctured CO2 will slowly discharge, so once you turn the dial you’re committed. – If you insert a magazine, but do not discharge any projectiles, when you drop the magazine two projectiles will come out with it. – It has a very long trigger pull, but it does break cleanly. – Too large for a standard holster, though it has an extremely similar form factor to a Tippman TIPX and may fit holsters designed for that. – To puncture the CO2, you must twist a knob on the bottom of the magazine. So even if you have it loaded and ready, you aren’t going to be able to use it until you twist that a bunch of times to puncture the CO2. In contrast, the Byrna can be loaded in advance as well, and the first trigger pull is what punctures the CO2, so you have no extra steps to perform with that system. Overall, despite a seemingly long list of cons, I’m still happy with this launcher. Most of the issues I have with it are minor save for the CO2 puncture method and given the price this comes in at I feel like that is acceptable. I would suggest that they offer a California kit that swaps out the pepper balls with more inert projectiles, otherwise this is a nice complete kit for a good price.

   I purchased this Launcher for my wife mainly. I’m a trained and experienced firearm consumer spanning five decades and I conceal carry; this weapon is for the house so my wife has something to use in a self defense situation. So, I tested the Launcher today. I am very impressed with the simplicity of use, how it handles and fires, and the needed accuracy at close range. I dialed in the fiber optic rear site to be on center at fifteen feet and I had most of the practice rounds hitting nearly dead center, or center mass, which is all you really need. I love the seven shot magazine and the bright yellow color strangely. I was also able to reload three times on one CO2 cartridge with enough energy, if needed, to get the job done at fifteen feet. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one for my daughter. Great product, I loved the price, and it’s application for us is perfect!!

   This product works very well. I was putting holes through both sides of the cardboard box that it came in, at about 60 feet. I bought 100 .68 caliber nylon balls from githubja.com at a pretty good price. I also bought 30 more CO2 cartridges. This unit fires the nylon balls very well. You can get about 30 shots out of one CO2 cartridge. About 20 of those shots are actually worth a damn, as the CO2 gets low. The first 7 shots on a new cartridge come out extremely hard. I shot a perfect hole in a 1 inch thick cedar board at about 40 feet with my first shot. I would guess that the first 7 shots with a nylon ball would break skin. *My only complaints are that it doesn’t have a holster to carry it in. *And the cartoonish looks and color of it are a bit concerning. I know that the reasoning behind its looks are so it doesn’t get confused with a real gun. But my kids immediately thought it was a toy when I took it out of the box. It does look like a toy. So it’s important to keep it locked up if you have little ones.
