   This bag mimics the maxpedition mongo bag. For less than half the price. It’s a rugged bag and I use it for EDC. The zippers are good and I have not had any issues so far. It’s a good size for EDC and fits and organizes a lot of gear. This fits in a casual office setting or in the wilds as a modern haversack. I did notice loose threads in some spots but it was not unraveling. It was just not cut tight to the material. I used a lighter to clean those up. All in all I would recommend this bag especially at the price.

   i’m using it for a camera bag. holds my cleaning stuff, extra batteries, SSDs, three pancake lenses, 20-200mm lens, 18-35mm lens, my 80D, bag of filters, shutter release and my lens hoods. small tripod easily mounts on the bottom. i still have quite a bit of small compartments left.

   i don’t go trudging through jungles so this works just fine for me. the strap i find comfortable and the bag easily sits just off to the side, out of the way but easily accessible to change lenses or what not.

   Its not water proof but its comfy and hold alot and has some decent pockets. The zips have not failed and it hasnt come apart at the seams. I just wish it was waterproof for more adventuring.

   Yes, I confess, I am a slave to buying the toughest gear that I can buy, and that usually means shelling out the money to get products from the “Big Name” in this segment. I researched this bag, read the reviews, looked at the measurements and shown features in the listing, and decided to give it a chance. I’m glad I did, because in my opinion this bag is every bit the ruggedness and quality of the expensive brand, yet packed with even more features. Great pouches, great size, holds all my EDC gear and a couple Insulated Aluminum drinking bottles besides. As it turned out, I needed the hundred dollars I saved for other things. Don’t hesitate on this bag, buy it.

   Great bag worth the £25 I paid for it three years ago. It wear well and is comfortable to carry with the padded shoulder strap. It seems it’s now £75 that would be very bad value at the current price.

   This review has been edited, and I think it is important to note that I chose to do so, I was not asked to by the manufacturer (I have had other manufacturers request that I change my review!). I wasn’t 100% happy when I received the shoulder bag. Overall, it looked great. But either one of the main pocket sides or the flap cover hadn’t been sewn on just quite right. It caused a 1 inch gap on one side of the flap (I’ve left the pictures up from my original review). Also, I had some difficulty when I first wrote the review in where/how to contact the manufacturer. But once I figured out that you had to go through the manufacturer’s page here on githubja.com, I was able to get a message to them, with pictures, with no problem. That was in the evening, I had a response waiting for me the next morning, offering a replacement or a refund. The replacement arrived 2 days later. It’s frustrating when a problem slips past quality control. But how a company handles it can make all the difference. It’s nice to see this company stand behind their product. When I need another pack, I’ll at least take a look at what Shangri-La has available.
