   The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is for the price. These are ridiculously expensive. It’s literally $5 per ball. WHAT! A serious mark up. They are preying on your fear to make money which I find awful but alas, thus alternative is better than bullets. I didn’t buy the salt gun Bc again too expensive. I just bought the paintball handgun that is manufactured by the same company. Don’t waste your money just for the SALT name for the gun. Unless you have money to waste and don’t care. However, as far as reliability of tear gas “bullets” I bought these. Hopefully I won’t have to use them.

   I am not a lawyer check your local law and listings they work great for people trying to steal catalytic converters on your private property. If you use these in a regular paintball gun make sure you turn the velocity up so they reach about 300 to 315 the shells are made from plastic and most likely will bounce off aim for the top of the sternum right below the chin and shoot about 2 to 3 times desired effect and do not be standing downwind. I love these things just what you need between a harsh word and a real blaster, Plus made in my home state.

   I own traditional firearms but was looking for something I could keep in my toy-hauler when camping in congested areas during my kid’s mx race weekends. I also wanted something to lend to my elderly parents for their road trips or to use when some of the neighborhood   undesirables break into the garage to siphon gas or steal dirt bike parts. For me, the SALT gun does not replace a traditional gun, however, I like having it as a non-lethal option for certain circumstances. The SALT gun is rather large for my hands, but it is lightweight. Although there is room for improvement, and it is pricey (for a paintball gun), I’m still giving it 5 stars as it is the only thing in the market like it. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

   Upon prompt arrival, one of the pepper balls was cracked inside the case. While, throwing it away some of the dust got into the air, and consequently into my mouth, nose and eyes. It is finer than corn starch and does exactly what SALT claims. It is incapacitating. I was barely exposed and unable to do much of anything but cough and wait in pain until it wore off about 15 minutes later. A more pronounced exposure would certainly give a person time to call the police and leave the scene safely. Salt Supply Company provided fantastic customer service. I will definitely be ordering again.

   These are very good quality but way to expensive. These are very very strong so if you accidentally crack one you are going to feel it.

   These balls seem to be a prefect choice for self defense to use in your pepper ball weapon of choice. I saw a video on YouTube. Where a man had someone hit him with one and the result was positive. I hope I never have to use but glad to have them in case of an emergency. Great product Thanks
