Unfortunately, I had to return it because I chose the wrong size. But I have several of these on my other pistols. They are great!! they have never failed me during training. They are the best of the best!

Use this on my duty duty wepon very useful tool for one handed operation.
Be mindful on your holster and how close it sits around the trigger guard if it’s to close could cause damage to the switch

I recently shot a practical pistol match at night. We started at dusk and went until 4AM. It was very instructive. I am a far more reliable and faster shooter when using a mounted weapon light as opposed to holding a flashlight weak hand. I was also concerned about how easy it could be to get your weak hand to close to the muzzle in long strings of shots. It takes a lot of practice to do hold a light and shoot well and safely. I used a Sure X200 and was very pleased with it, but the match experience prompted me to buy this Grip Switch assembly rather than fumble with the original switch.
I also used to work in a gun store, so I have handled a lot of firearms with mounted lights and laser sights. This switch placement, in my experience, is the most ergonomic and easy to use.

This remote for the Surefire X300, on a Glock 22 Gen 4 fits and operates perfectly. I also have this remote on my XDM .40, same thing fits and works great

I own a p226 legion. I got a Surefire x300U to go with it but the switches were very stiff. It was to the point of me trying to turn the light off only for it to stay on due to me having to apply so much force for it to move it would move past the off position to the opposite “on” direction.
I decided to try this as an alternative. It is very well made for what it is. It functioned flawlessly and was much easier to turn on.
However, this came at a cost. The way this was designed made it cover the deeper u cut at the trigger guard that the legions come standard with. It’s definitely something that you can train around but, for how nice that cut feels compared to a standard p226, it really made me just work at the switches for a while longer.
In summary, its great in form and function, but for the legion owners out there, it’s going to take quite a bit of time to get used to not having that really comfy undercut.

This item is perfect for anyone who loves to shoot and those who practice in low light/nighttime shooting sessions. This little piece helps you manipulate your weapon mounted light easier and more effective. The DG switch allows you to keep both hands on the firearm maintaining a proper grip and turn the light on/off with ease. 100% recommend!
