A little pricey but works great in my nvg’s, just as good as the ones I used in the mil.

These Glowsticks have worked very well for my intended use. I have used them as target markers for steel plates for night shooting. At night, my targets often reflect a similar amount of light as the mountainside I shoot against and this makes finding targets difficult through Night Vision as the targets tend to bend with their surroundings.
I have used these glowsticks on Metal T-posts to mark targets out to 900 yards at night and the glowsticks are easy to find through a PVS-30 clip on unit, but the sticks I received emit no light visible to the naked eye. If you are looking to mark targets or anything else you want to keep track of through NVG’s, these sticks do the trick. My only complaint is the price point – there are cheaper alternatives that can be found off githubja.com, so these seem slightly overpriced – Bottom line is they work. This review reflects the infra-red color option.

Work as advertised. Barley visible faint glow to the naked eye in complete darkness. Very bright with night vision. You can wrap it with duct or electrical tape to minimize the visible glow and it will still be clearly bright with NV. Cracked one off and threw it in my closet. While it was dimmer it lasted 24+ hours. Would buy again.

Works as we expect. It has a faint glow in total darkness but meets our needs.
In total darkness, the very faint glow is just barely visible with properly dark-adjusted averted vision up to 17m away for younger eyes (ages 19 and lower), and up to 14m away for older eyes (ages 55 and higher). In total darkness, the faint glow is directly visible at about 4m regardless of age. Each set of eyes is unique, so these distances will be different for each person.
When there is moon glow or slight reflected light from clouds, or when the eyes are not dark-adjusted, then the faint glow is practically invisible even when held in front of our eyes.

I purchase it only for airsoft kit look. Looks good. I think in military use – quality of Tac Shield is the Best as their paracord.
