   This is an exceptionally well designed and manufactured tool. After extensive use I have to say the edge retention is amazing. It is very light, and has a very slim discrete profile. It has a small glass breaker at the end of the handle, which is a very nice feature. As a lightweight do it all tool this is a great knife, as a “combat” knife, well, there’s a reason your standard issue knife looks nothing like this. It is I’m sure the dream of a special type of elite professional, and that’s that. For the rest of us, it is a great little go to knife. Things to consider are this knife has no guard, a thin though well designed point, the sheath has enough retention to even carry in the inverse position, but that means you’re going to need to put a bit of English into your draw to deploy it.

   My 5th tops knife and am extremely disappointed with the sheath.. the screw holes arent spaced out to move to scout position ..come on tops really?

   Pricey for a knife that may spend the rest of its life at the bottom of a lake….but perfect for its intended purpose
