Although I have not had to use this in self defense, I did a quick test shot with them and they are what you would expect. The only negative thing I have to say is that the belt strap on the holster is kinda flimsy, but so far no issues.
Would it stop a bear? I carry this with me when ever I go out camping or hiking. Like ALL sparys, it’s just an added deterrent just in case. The 2 pack is a good value.

I walk my two dogs using an electric scooter and we cover over 120 miles per month. Run into lots of uncontrolled dogs. When they approach my dogs aggressively I’ll use it. Rarely have to use it directly on the dog(s) as the whoosh of the orange spray blasting out about fifteen feet usually sends them packing. Wish I could use it on the dogs owner since it’s not the dogs fault it’s running loose. I’m on my third canister in about six months. Highly recommend it.

We bought the Udap 2 Personal Defense Bear Sprays w/Holsters for our trip through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone national parks. We did not have to use it (thankfully).
The cannisters are light, ergonomical, and fit easily into the side pocket of our backpacks. The neoprene covers make protect the cannister from bumping or banging around when they are not in the back pack. There is also a good quality webbing loop to attach the spray to a belt or other rigging.
The finger hole makes the container easy to hold and aim should you need to deploy the spray.
We have not yet sprayed them but if we do, I will update this review.
