   After a second one if these in about a year the pressure switch wire connecting to base of either laser or light will malfunction I have found after taking it apart the soldered wire breaks loose. Unless you know how to repair, I would recommend another brand. A little silicon at the solder joint would prevent this from happening

   There are essentially two versions of this product, and from what I can tell, the only difference is a red laser vs a green laser. The flashlight and the mount seem to be the same either way. I purchased the red laser version, and that is the model this review is referring to. Overall, I am very happy with this item. Like most (if not all) UTG products, the quality is top notch, the item is sturdy and well made, and you get excellent value for your money. The flashlight itself does not “click” on, and some people will not like this. And I have even seen some reviews that specifically mention this as a negative. I personally am not bothered by this, as I mounted the light to a 10.5 AR pistol that I use for home defense. I like having the ability to blast some quick light into a room, and quickly cut it off. You can either continue pressing the back button for continuous light, or you can turn the end plate clockwise and the light stays on. With the pressure switch, this becomes more of an issue, but not as big of a deal as some make it out to be, you apply pressure for light, or you don’t and the light turns off….Again, whether the pressure switch is used or not (I do not use it) this feature is not a negative for me, I like it the way it functions. I also really like the mount, it allows you to place the laser anywhere around the flashlight. Top, bottom, left, right etc. I personally have mine setup to the bottom left of the flashlight, so it’s out of the way and doesn’t add any additional bulk. The QD function is adjustable, and locks up tight to a 1913 rail section. The laser itself is the only complaint I have for this product. Like others have mentioned, it does not hold it’s zero well. However, this was easily mitigated by adding some blue loctite to the elevation and windage adjustment screws. The loctite dries pretty much invisible, so it doesn’t muddy anything up. And it completely corrected the zeroing issue. Initially, I was having my zero shift by simply charging the weapon. After adding the loctite, I’ve put approximately 700 rounds of .223/5.56 downrange and I haven’t had any additional issues. I also don’t “baby” my weapons….This thing has been dropped, knocked over, tossed on the ground while I switch to a pistol for drills, etc. And the zero has held. So the initial problem has become a non-issue for me. So, overall I would recommend this light/laser combo to others. It’s not a perfect product, but with a little adjustment, it’s workable. And considering what you get for the price, I think it offers good quality and value with the caveats I mentioned. I feel it’s a solid 4/5 star product, and I expect mine to last for years to come. ******************************* I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on githubja.com for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item.    Very bright and sturdy design! My only complaint is that the laser tuning seems “loose”. By that I mean that when I adjusted the laser one day it was aligned and the next day it wasn’t. Other than that I really enjoy this product. It is a must have for any tactical rifle you are building.

   Love the light and laser combo….the light can light up a large area and laser is very strong and can shoot out a strong beam quite a distance even in regular light.

   3rd one! Great for the price. Mine sets lower left so as you have it set for your distance you need to know the off-set as you get closer or further for accuracy.
