   I am a 67-year-old grandmother, and I wear the Sophroneo chest pack every time I hike. The area I hike is packed with wildlife (bears, mountain lions and other big cats, coyotes, and other animals.) There was a fatal wildlife encounter up there 2 years ago and I’ve been a little slow to feel secure hiking there alone, even with my dogs. Wearing this pack gives me a greater sense of security. It holds my weapon in a secure zippered pouch and is so easy to access. I’m no longer needing to decide what holster to wear depending on what outfit I’m wearing, if my outfit has pockets, etc. It also holds bear and bark spray, knives, and first aid products. The fully adjustable straps made it easy to distribute the weight evenly, making the pack very comfortable. For camping I add a flashlight, radio, and other equipment. Wearing it while shopping again keeps my hands free, no loose purse on my shoulder, and my protection close by. It’s an easy grab and go bag. I’m buying more of these chest packs to give as gifts.
