Walkers earpro has always been a good value. Add to it the inexpensive comms option for talking with my son at the range and now it’s even better. Don’t expect military quality but for the hobby guy, they work great.

I bought this set because it represented a good value,IMHO. I priced the headsets & walkie-talkies separately, & saw that this package deal was a bit cheaper. I plan to use them when working with loud tools(air chisels, grinders, etc) & when at the shooting range with my son. My grandson enjoys “playing” with me, using them to communicate back & forth. One feature I didn’t expect, was I already have a pair of Cobra walkie-talkies that when on the same channel & sub channel, will work with these headset walkie-talkies. The headset WT have a priority channel feature that is nice of used at a worksite or tactical situations, as it allows you to monitor the priority channel for alerts/warnings, while using an alternate channel to communicate with someone or a specific group. All said, I am so far pleased with this product.

Good for the intended purpose!

Very comfortable to wear. The padding is great. The radio transceiver is flawless, and is a great added safety feature for a gun range. Cancels loud noise as advertised. I can’t imagine a better product for that price.

Just the muffs are great & you can hear quite a lot with the sensitivity of the internal microphone. I first tested them out in the house to see if I could hear the ghost of summer past. Every room is insulated, so you can’t normally hear someone talking across the house. Put these on & turn the volume up. I swear you can hear almost clear as day the voices down below..
The walkies on auto talk hesitate & start transmitting about 3 words in. Best to just run the push to talk.

The radio works fantastically well and the muffs are great on their own accord. It is nice to be able to switch off the active noise cancelling effect of the headset and still use the radio function. VOX has a 1/2 second delay that makes it difficult to use, but the manual PTT button is convenient to locate and activate even with shooting gloves on.

I had a chance to buy these and I will say that after some testing these things were really awesome. I did some tactical drills with these headsets and was really happy with the sound and the ear protection. Already have guys looking to buy some. Many referrals.

I would’ve given these ear pros with walkie-talkies five star, except upon testing them in range, my husband walked into the other room, my walkie-talkie stopped picking up his voice. He said he could hear me on his, but I could not hear him on mine unless he was just a few feet in front of me. We adjusted the volume on both ear pros even turning them off in case there was interference with walkie talkies, we also changed channels, and again tested the range and mine still wouldnt pick up his voice. Im not sure why this happened but it’s very disappointing. We will be testing them again probably at the range, and if it doesn’t work in a different environment and a farther distance, I’ll have to return them.
